The FKAG was founded in mid-2014 at the same time as the arrival of the first refugees in Giengen as part of the current Agenda 21 group Network Understanding and has continued its work with several smaller welcome actions and a subsequent, larger Welcome café started. Currently, about 70 people are part of the circle of helpers. The task spectrum that the volunteers take care of is duplicated.
The circle of friends is supervised and accompanied by the integration officer, Christina Augustin. Helpers are always welcome! Further information can be found in the Integration meeting point.
